Warranty terms

1. The warranty period starts from the date of sale of the goods to the Buyer.

2. The extended warranty is valid for the 24 (twenty four) months. Regardless of the nature and cause of the breakdown, and if it is impossible to eliminate the problem remotely, the Manufacturer undertakes to replace the equipment at its own expense, including shipping costs.

3. During the  24 (twenty four) months inclusively after the purchase, free remote diagnostics are carried out. If, according to the diagnostic results:
  • breakdown is the fault of the Manufacturer, repair and shipping will be at the expense of the Manufacturer;
  • breakdown is the fault of the Buyer, the Buyer will receive a 30% discount to purchase a new one.
4. Starting from the 1st (first) month from the date of sale, the Manufacturer shall be free from warranty obligations in the following cases:
  • chemical, thermal, mechanical or other equipment damage;
  • failure due to non-compliance with the rules for the installation and operation of the equipment;
  • opening, repair or modification of equipment by unauthorized persons;
  • problem was caused by use with non-Smart Teddy electrical accessories;
  • warrant / quality stickers, serial number plates or electronic serial numbers have been removed, altered or rendered illegible;
  • product was purchased, used, serviced, or shipped for repair from outside the US, or used for commercial or institutional purposes (including but not limited to rental purposes);
  • product was returned without valid proof of purchase; installation or setup, adjustment of customer controls, and installation or repair of systems outside the unit.
5. Warranty repairs and maintenance are performed within 5 (five) weeks at the service center of the Manufacturer, only upon presentation of this warranty card. The warranty period is extended for the duration of the repair.

6. For the duration of warranty repair, replacement equipment is not provided.

7. The date on the receipt must be the same as the purchase date.

Authorized Resellers

Smart Teddy (Amazon).

Your limited warranty is valid if you purchased your Smart Teddy from the aforementioned resellers as a brand NEW device. The warranty is not valid for used or refurbished purchases. A valid receipt of purchase must be provided when filing a claim.

90-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

Refund Policy

1. Refund requests must be made within 90 days of the delivery date. After 90 days from delivery date, you must contact Smart Teddy's Customer Service to determine the best course of action. Smart Teddy will not issue refunds for products purchased through other entities, such as distributors or retail partners. Please contact those entities directly to request a refund or return. Defective units are covered under Smart Teddy's limited warranty policy and will be replaced at Smart Teddy's cost. See "Warranty terms,", for information on warranty returns.

2. A copy of the credit card purchase receipt and a copy of the original Smart Teddy invoice may be requested prior to Smart Teddy Customer Service issuing a Return Authorization.

3. The unit must be in like-new condition and returned in original packaging with all original accessories, literature and other components. Smart Teddy reserves the right to reject any refund request if the product is received damaged or if any accessories, literature or other original components are missing.

4. A Return Authorization (RA) Number must be obtained prior to returning the product; to request an RA number, please email hello@smartteddy.store.

5. The address for the return of your purchase will be sent together with an RA number.

6. Please mark with the RA number on the outside of the package.

7. A copy of the credit card purchase receipt and a copy of the original Smart Teddy invoice should be placed inside the return package so that it is easily visible.

8. Products received without an RA number and the required documentation as specified above may not be accepted or processed for a refund.

9. Products received that do not meet the above return criteria may be returned to the customer via ground shipment.

10. You are responsible for shipping costs for returning the product to Smart Teddys office unless a very specific situation which needs to be determined by Smart Teddy. We do not provide return labels unless previously agreed under certain conditions. The product should be shipped so that it can be tracked and/or insured; Smart teddy is not responsible for products lost or damaged during return shipment.

11. Shipping charges are nonrefundable.

12. Funds will be credited within 7 working days of receipt of returned product pending qualification and subject to the above criteria.
